Based on FDIC national deposit rates (Source: fdic.gov/national-rates-and-rate-caps) and an illustrative rate entered by the user. Deposit rates are subject to change. Past performance is not indicative of future results, and individual results may vary. Ampersand, Inc. is not an FDIC insured bank. Deposit insurance covers the failure of an insured bank.

Ampersand, Inc. is not a bank or depository institution. Client funds are deposited, as administrator, at FDIC- or NCUA-insured banks or credit unions within the Ampersand partner network, where applicable deposit insurance is provided by those institutions, subject to standard limits, aggregation rules, and regulatory requirements, including conditions for pass-through coverage.

Rates and earnings shown are for illustrative purposes only and are not guaranteed. Actual rates, terms, and availability may vary based on deposit size, term, market conditions, and participating institutions. This calculator does not constitute an offer to accept deposits or a commitment to provide any specific rate. Deposits are placed, as administrator, at participating financial institutions within the Ampersand partner network. Applicable deposit insurance is provided by insured partner institutions, subject to standard limits, aggregation rules, and regulatory requirements, including conditions for pass-through coverage. Estimated earnings are hypothetical and may not reflect actual results. Access to funds may depend on program terms and bank processing times.

Each dot represents $250,000 for illustration only and is not indicative of actual allocations; funds are broken up into whatever increments are necessary to seek your rate and coverage objectives. The coverage visual assumes a single depositor in a single ownership category with no other deposits at participating institutions. Coverage above the standard limit depends on the number of participating institutions, account ownership, and satisfaction of regulatory requirements. The national average benchmark (0.39% as of 10/06/2025) is based on publicly available FDIC national average rates for similar deposit products; rates available through the Ampersand program are provided by participating financial institutions and may differ due to deposit size, product structure, term, and market conditions.

Comparison disclosures & FDIC insurance limits

About FDIC insurance limits. The FDIC insures deposits up to $250,000 per depositor, per insured bank, for each account ownership category (for example, single, joint, or business/corporate accounts). Deposits at credit unions are insured by the NCUA on the same basis. All deposits a business holds at the same bank in the same ownership category are added together and insured only up to that $250,000 limit.

Any amount above the limit is uninsured. If a bank fails, insured deposits are typically made available quickly, but uninsured balances are not paid out in full: the depositor generally receives a receivership certificate and may recover some, all, or none of the uninsured amount over time, depending on what the FDIC recovers from the failed bank’s assets. In the illustration above, everything beyond the first $250,000 held at a single bank is shown as exposed for this reason.

Placing deposits across multiple insured institutions, with each deposit kept within the limit, is how total coverage can extend beyond $250,000. Coverage depends on the number of participating institutions, account ownership, any other deposits you hold at the same institutions, and satisfaction of pass-through recordkeeping requirements. To estimate your coverage, use the FDIC’s Electronic Deposit Insurance Estimator at edie.fdic.gov, or learn more at fdic.gov/resources/deposit-insurance.

Comparisons are illustrative and based on general characteristics of traditional single-institution deposit accounts versus multi-institution deposit programs. Actual risks, coverage, and returns vary based on account ownership, deposit size, participating institutions, product type, and market conditions. Coverage amounts above standard limits are achieved by allocating funds across multiple institutions and are not guaranteed.

Ampersand, Inc. is not a bank or depository institution. Ampersand acts as administrator for clients in placing deposits at FDIC- or NCUA-insured banks or credit unions within the Ampersand partner network. Applicable deposit insurance is provided by those institutions, subject to standard limits, aggregation rules, and regulatory requirements, including conditions for pass-through coverage.

‡ Ampersand program rates have averaged 5–9x the FDIC national average savings rate. Comparison is based on publicly available FDIC national average rates for similar deposit products (Source: fdic.gov/national-rates-and-rate-caps) versus rates provided by participating financial institutions in the Ampersand program, as of 10/15/2026. Averages are not a guarantee of any individual client’s rate; actual rates vary by deposit size, product structure, term, market conditions and participating institutions, and are subject to change. Past performance is not indicative of future results.

Statements regarding rates, protection, or risk are general in nature and do not eliminate the risk of loss in all circumstances. Rates are subject to change and are not guaranteed. For information about FDIC insurance, visit www.fdic.gov.

§ CDs are issued by participating FDIC- or NCUA-insured institutions, not by Ampersand. “Most competitive” compares per-bank CD rates offered by participating institutions with publicly available national CD rate data, as of 09/19/2026; rates vary by term, deposit size, market conditions and institution availability and are not guaranteed. A placement fee applies to CDs and is charged at maturity, subject to a signed agreement with Ampersand. See your agreement for fee details. CDs are subject to the terms of the issuing institution, which may include early withdrawal penalties; funds in a CD may not be available until maturity. CD balances count toward the standard insurance limit together with any other deposits held in the same ownership capacity at the same institution. Term chart is illustrative only.

Ampersand transformed how we manage excess cash. Instead of juggling multiple bank relationships and worrying about exposure limits, we now have one platform that provides both competitive returns and comprehensive protection. The onboarding was smooth, reporting is clear, and we finally feel confident that our liquidity strategy is working for us rather than sitting idle.
